Begich Chides Rubio On Eve Of Alaska Primary

The timing of his letter isn’t lost on Begich. Tomorrow Alaska Republicans will go to party administered voting locations around the state to divy up 25 of Alaska’s 28 delegates to the national convention among the various candidates for President. “Come Super Tuesday you’d think he’d want Alaska’s 28 delegates, but first you gotta know Alaska exists.” said Begich.




Don Young Endorsed U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Congressman Don Young picked up a big endorsement today in his run for re-election against….well, no one really yet. But hey, getting an endorsement from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is never a bad thing for a Republican in Alaska. Who knows, Young could always get a real challenger to use it against later.



Murkowski Campaign Announces Big Fundraising Haul and Staff Moves

This morning, the campaign announced Sen. Murkowski’s latest fundraising result: her reelection campaign has $3.1 million cash-on-hand. This effort, including over $570,000 raised during the fourth quarter, represents a new and historic fundraising record for any Alaskan holding public office in a non-election year. In total, Murkowski raised nearly $3.3 million in 2015.





Alaska’s Congressional Delegation Reacts to the State of the Union Address

It was a tense night for Republicans as President Obama, in his final State of the Union address, directly challenged the central narratives most Republican presidential candidates have been laying out in their campaigns. Most notably the line that America has become weaker and our enemies stronger under his administration. The president called such assertions “fiction” and “political hot air.”
