Curtis Thayer of the Alaska Chamber of Commerce submitted this commentary to us about the results of recent polling on Alaska’s fiscal issues the Chamber commissioned from Dittman Reseach. We have posted Mr. Thayer’s commentary here exactly as it was submitted to us.
The Chamber wants to avoid costs to their members in the form of new taxes on business to pay for state government at the expense of state employees.
The Alaska Chamber is pleased to announce the selection of life-long Alaskan Curtis Thayer as President and CEO. He replaces Rachael Petro, who moved out of state after guiding the Chamber for almost five years.
