This morning U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski released her first campaign ad of the 2016 election cycle.
The ad features well known mushers DeeDee Jonrowe, Jeff King, and John Baker endorsing Murkowski.
In an email to supporters Murkowski’s Campaign Manager Steve Wackowski says:
“These local legends praise Senator Murkowski for her leadership and perseverance, qualities they recognize and know well as Iditarod mushers. They understand that we need warriors like Lisa who will never stop fighting for Alaska.
The Iditarod is the embodiment of the grit, determination and vision of the Alaskan people. Lisa is proud to embrace these mushers’ support.”
