MIDNIGHT SUN EXCLUSIVE: New Poll Shows Trump-Clinton Tied In Alaska

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are tightening their grips on the Democratic and Republican presidential nominations.

New polling numbers provided exclusively to The Midnight Sun by the Alaska Democratic Party show Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in a statistical tie in The Last Frontier.

The poll was conducted by Washington D.C. based Lake Research Group from October 11-13 and surveyed 500 likely general election voters. According to their website Lake Research Group has done work for former President Bill Clinton, Vice-President Joe Biden, and dozens of congressional and senate Democrats including former Alaska Senator Mark Begich.

The results show Donald Trump with a one point lead. That is well within the 4.4% margin of error.

Here are the survey results:

Survey conducted by Lake Research Partners from October 11-13 of 500 likely general election voters in Alaska.

Clinton………………………………………………………………… 36%
Trump ………………………………………………………………… 37 %
Johnson ……………………………………………………………….. 7% Stein…………………………………………………………………….. 3%

Margin of error – 4.4%

Those results show significant movement from the same survey conducted between August 9-14.

August 9-14th poll of 500 likely voters:

Clinton………………………………………………………………… 30%
Trump ………………………………………………………………… 38%
Johnson ………………………………………………………………..11% Stein…………………………………………………………………….. 2%

Margin of error – 4.4%

These two survey results show while Donald Trump’s support among likely voters has only dipped by one point, Hillary Clinton has picked up six points. That surge by Clinton appears to have come by peeling off slivers of support from Trump, Libertarian Gary Johnson, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

This is just the latest poll to show the presidential race tightening in Alaska. Last week the Alaska Dispatch News released a poll showing Trump ahead by only 5.5 points and Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s campaign released their own internal polling showing Trump up an even slimmer 3 points.

Both of those polls were conducted before a video broke showing Donald Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women and the second presidential debate. These newest results came after both.

In response to these results, Alaska Democratic Party Communications Director Jake Hamburg said:

“In every poll conducted over the last several weeks, one thing is consistent. The race is a toss-up. In light of the most recent revelations and Republican defections, things do not bode well for Donald Trump and the Alaska Republican Party with three weeks left to go until the elections.”

Alaska Republican Party Vice-Chair Rick Whitbeck, when asked if he is worried by the third poll in two weeks showing a tightening presidential race in Alaska responded, “I think Alaska voters are going to reject (Clinton’s) campaign and what she stands for and what she has said about Alaska.” Asked if he is concerned Alaska’s weakening support for Trump might have implications for down-ballot Republicans in November, Whitbeck said, “Not at all. Not at all. I’m taking this as one data point and none of them that I have seen the actual figures on show that there is much of a down ballot effect so far.”

  1. This narrative should have been produced on toilet paper.

  2. The Republicans continue to be in denial. Donald Trump is the single most destructive “event” to have hit the Party, it is a political tsunami that began with the nihilism of the Tea Party. While the “earthquake” of the tea party won the GOP the Congress, it has now washed up on its own shores and could undermine the very foundation of the once truly great party for a decade. To quote Bill Maher: “Donald Trump didn’t create the swamp, he just rose from it…”

    • I agree Trump is destructive to the repub party. But Trump was not the Tea Party candidate, Cruz was. A lot of the Tea Party, including me, opposed Trump.

      • Cruz never had the guts to take on Killery. He would never be this far in the polls. He was my guy at first but he just doesn’t have the thick skin to fight the media & corrupt left.

    • Gosh, this is the best quote l have come across today. Well said man.

  3. Like their counterparts elsewhere, many Alaskan women “just say no” to Trump.

    Republican hypocrisy:

“If Trump wins, the election is legitimate and the people have SPOKEN. If Hillary wins, it must be RIGGED.

Donald Trump is accused of forcing himself on over ten women. STICK TO THE ISSUES. Bill Clinton accused of similar misconduct by women. His wife should be disqualified from office.

Bill Clinton’s accusers. Believe them all and never forgive Bill. Trump’s accusers. Say they are liars and attack them for how they look.

Hillary Clinton has not directly mentioned any of Trump’s accusers. She needs to stop distracting from real issues. Trump has a press conference with 4 of Bill Clinton’s accusers, gives them front row seats to the debate, and mentions them at a debate. Great job taking the gloves off president Trump.

Bill Clinton cheats on his wife. Impeach him. Trump proudly brags about sexual assault (has 5 kids with 3 wives and has cheated on his wives). Elect him.

Hillary oversaw the department of state while 4 people died in an embassy attack. JAIL HER. 2 Republicans were in office while over 200 people died in embassy attacks. Patriots!

Immigrants don’t pay taxes. Kick them all out. Trump doesn’t pay taxes. He’s a business genius.

Fact checkers found Trump is the least truthful candidate in the history of politics. He tells it like it is. Hillary is statistically more truthful than most politicians according to fact checkers. She is the most untrustworthy person ever.

Hillary’s foundation spent 87% of donations helping people (average charity is 75%). CROOKED. Trumps foundation paid off personal debts, bought paintings of Trump, and made political donations to lawsuits for a fake university while using less than 5% of funds for charity (and he got shut down by NY State). So savvy… Put him in the white house.

Trump made 4 billion dollars in 40 years, when an index fund started at the same time with the same “small loans” he received would be worth $12 billion today… without a trail of bankruptcies, thousands of lawsuits and burned small business owners. He’s a real business whiz. Hillary took a loss of $700k. She’s a criminal.

Trump is the first candidate in the modern era not to release his tax returns, and took a billion dollar loss in 1 year. Genius. Hillary releases 40 years of taxes. Corrupt. Trump denies saying things (on the record) he actually said (on the record), he’s just telling it like it is.

If Democrats want to change the country it’s because they hate America, If Republicans want to change the country it’s because they love America

To claim the election is rigged if Hillary wins means my vote and almost everyone I know who vote are not legitimate but your votes are. Your arguments are thin. Your ignorance of reality is shocking. Your double-standards are offensive. Your fictions are not fact. And your hypocrisy is not a platform.”

    • Its not repub hypocrisy, it is purely Trump hypocrisy. Many repubs do not agree with Trump on this.

    • Why don’t you go read the released wikileaks documents. The democrat party & most of the Repub are corrupt as hell.

Forget the people running. They are both far from ideal humans. Focus on whether you would like to see the United States dissolved in favor of the “Borderless Hemisphere,” or if you would prefer to retain the United States, strengthen its borders, and enforce it’s laws. I think it says something about Hillary’s Borderless Hemisphere when she doesn’t feel she can be honest with the American People and openly campaign for her dream. She knows that it means falling US wages, disease, crime, terrorism, and roving groups of rapists in the U.S., but it will make the banks and corporations that own her happy, so why not?

    • Go Tedward Deck Hero, tell these bimbo Republicans the truth like it is.

  5. This is understandable. The Republican “brand” in Alaska is now badly tarnished. After the experience with Sarah Palin (Trump Ver 1.0) Alaskans are leary of populists who, with very little or no experience in the political arena, offer solutions based on assumptions, slogans and platitudes more than anything else.

    • Why does “no experience” in politics a bad thing? Trump could run this country like a business & get rid of duplication etc. one thing most companies don’t do that our corrupt gov does is give giant bonuses to people who are failing & should be fired

  6. So now a Democratic Poll has legitimacy! The MSM are essentially campaign workers for the Clinton campaign. Real life you can’t make this stuff up!

    • No it doesn’t. I do not believe any polls. Hillary can’t get 250 people to assemble in one spot but Trump gets thousands & shes ahead? If the media including FOX was not blacking out the corruption wikileaks has produced Killery would be off the ticket.

      • Michiguy Madison | October 18, 2016 at 8:25 am | Reply

I have watched a little Fox News lately, and they are not blacking out Wikileaks. They remain at least somewhat fair and balanced. The Fox and Friends crew seems as pro-Trump as they ever were.

      • Most people who vote never go to a political rally, they have better things to do with their time. Just thought that I’d point that out.

      • Get an example of Ben Sanders, he had huge crowds just like Trump. What happened ,he didn’t Make it to the alter.its not about huge crowds, it’s about policies. Hillary has free education for people who don’t make much.oh yeh,let will vote for her for the sake of my sons college.

  7. The Republican party brought this upon themselves by selecting a card carrying liar, con-artist, racist, bigot, fasisct and sexual predator as their presidential candidate.

    • I agree, I am a conservative repub, but not a fan of Trump, or the dems.

      • Your not a true conservative. There will be either Trump or the single most corrupt Soros puppet elected. True conservatives will pick Trump. If all those puritanical evangelicals had not pissed off the 2012 election we’d be in a better spot I guess if you call Mittens a better spot. But he would not have been Odumbo

        • You’re not a true conservative, just a deplorable anti-American troll who believes in Breitbart’s treason. Drumpf was a Democrat until he decided to run. And your loony insult on Obama’s name shows what a racist you are as well. Instead of the only qualified candidate, you stupidly choose to waste your vote on a dangerous, non-human, inhuman, inhumane, nuclear-bombing, woman-raping, pussy-grabbing, America-hating, anti-Constitution, Russia-loving, Hitler-emulating, North Korea supporting, unskilled, cheating, swindling, bribing, grifting, philandering, pathologically lying, non-empathetic, imbecilic, incompetent, narcissistic, animal-abusing, unfocused, hate-filled, thin-skinned, racist, assassinatory, fascist, clinically insane, waxwork orange-peel purselips raccoon-eyed mini-Putin which all makes you as evil as your pig idol.

          • Michiguy Madison | October 18, 2016 at 8:32 am |

So you proved that you war a better name-caller? Congrats. To a couple of your points, Hillary is pro WW3 with Russia, as is Obama, and while they don’t want nuke use, she will make it far more likely than Trump, who wants peace with Russia. Second, it is quite clear that Hillary wants to continue to erase our border on the way to her dream of a Borderless Hemisphere. Trump wants to re-establish our borders and the rule of US law. Which would you consider to be “anti-American?” I could go on all day about how evil Hillary is, but I would like to hear your defense of the Borderless Hemisphere. And don’t bother telling us Hillary isn’t for that, because we all now know she’s happy to lie to us about what she really wants. We know that it is her dream.

          • Please tell us exactly how evil Hillary is. I’m actually really interested to see if even one of your examples is based in fact. You know, other than that she was careless with some emails, just like the evil Colin Powell and other Republicans.

Unfortunately the “we” in your fantasy universe is not the people here in the real world. But keep on drinking that Breitbart toxic sludge.

          • AlaskanMusher | October 18, 2016 at 8:42 pm |

Please, do your research. I’ve witnessed several posts of yours stating Clinton wants to “erase our borders” but what you fail to discuss is that she was NOT talking about immigration, but trade. How can expanding trade worldwide be a bad thing? Sorry, but it is obvious that no matter what the truth is, Trump supporters will listen to his hot air (which I’m currently watching his speech in Colorado Springs and laughing at his lies and rhetoric with just enough smattering of some actual facts as filler). Intelligent people will look at the facts, not spout falsities. Well done! Republicans made a major mistake going with Trump. Had they put up almost ANY other candidate, they’d probably win the election. But, thanks to Trump and his OWN words and actions (you just can’t make this stuff up, people!), he’s effectively destroying the GOP and American way of life. Good on ya, Trump!

          • Michiguy Madison | October 19, 2016 at 2:10 pm |

If you’ve been to Europe lately, you drive from France into Germany, and the old border gate is no longer there. There are no barriers to the free movement of people. That is clearly her dream.

The real term for Liberal is Communist

        • Republican/Conservatives will never win the presidency until they moderate their message, reach out to women/minorities/young people, stop trying to legislate bedrooms/marriages and accept immigration reform.

This is great, a Democratic polling firm says that Clinton is close and you all think it’s written in stone.
Hillary Clinton is about to lose the election by a margin never seen in political history.

    • No presidential candidate who is this far ahead in the polls this close to the election has lost the popular vote since 1952…………don’t know what “one Democratic polling firm” you’re talking about, but nationally she has been in the lead for quite some time now.

I remember visiting my dentist a day or two before the last election………he and his staff were convinced that Romney was going to win, despite all the polling evidence to the contrary. Guess some people are just really good at that “power of positive thinking”.

Also, did you see the poll that showed that about 12% of conservative men believe that their wives are voting for Trump, when they’re actually voting for Hillary? Of course it works both ways but not in such high numbers. I’m pretty sure that a lot of women are keeping their mouthes shut to hold peace in their families………..however, the ballot box is secret!

      • The only scenario where Trump could win is if turnout is way off. Millions of Americans are sick of this election and have no enthusiasm about either candidate. If enough of them decide to stay home, that could sway things because Trump’s voters are older – and whiter – and those groups tend to vote no matter what. Me? I’m going to vote but I intend to leave the top office blank.

    • Trump will probably win AK. But Hillary is up by 7 nationally in RCP, and has a huge lead on the electoral map.

  9. I’d like to think it could happen, but probably not. Clinton will most likely lose this battle (Alaska), but hopefully win the war.

So far, no female from my family up here is voting for Trump, and the one that hasn’t said is Hispanic but married to a conservative, so there’s probably a reason she’s keeping her voting plans close to the chest. Not everyone is voting Hillary, some are taking the Gary Johnson throw-away opportunity.

But who knows, one more tape of some disgusting conversation of Trump’s, and it could even push Alaska over. After all, it’s only been fifty-some years since the last time Alaska went with a Dem for president!

    • Gary is leading in NM, and it looks like someone else is leading in Utah. If Hillary and Trump are tied, the Johnson vote can throw the election into overtime (nobody gets 270 votes) and hopefully Congress chooses a better candidate than these two whackadoos. Johnson is only a throw away if you successfully convince people that he is.

      • Well, going from Nate Silver’s electoral forecast, Clinton is on track to receive between 328 and 345 electoral votes. Utah, New Mexico, and Alaska have a whopping 14 electoral votes between them, so it doesn’t seem like a realistic scenario to me. Anything can happen in politics though, and there’s three weeks left, so I guess that there is a slim chance. I personally think it’s still a throw-away, and I wouldn’t vote for a guy with his lack of foreign and domestic knowledge anyway, but hey, it’s better than a vote for a power-mad narcissist!

        • yeah, 95% chance Hillary will win, but after that McMullin has a better chance than Trump because it’s more likely Trump will tie with Hillary than beat her, in which case it goes to the House to decide and they will not pick Trump when half of the House is dead set against it. As for foreign knowledge he beats Trump in spades given his experience in the CIA. As for domestic .., that’s what an advisory is for (which Trump and Clinton will and always have handily ignored) and which will be supplied mostly by Trump’s team.

      • McMullin is very close to both Trump and Hillary in Utah now, and is still gaining, I think he will win the state. It looks like Johnson is doing well in NM, but Hilary still has a solid lead. I hope they both do well, since I think both Trump and Hillary are totally unsuitable.

    • Thats because you’re traitor to our country. voting for a candidate who backs those who kill our fathers sons, cousins, brothers and uncles.

      • Could you be a little more specific? I honestly don’t know what the heck you are talking about.
If I can’t understand the context, it’s hard to figure out which definition of “treason” you’re using.

        • Clinton taking money from the Saudis and Qatar. The same ones who fund ISIS and kill our troops.. That is treason.

          • AlaskanMusher | October 18, 2016 at 8:51 pm |

Actually, no Juan. It’s not. You need to do some research, Sweetie! And before you start drumming the Benghazi drum…look at the Republicans who were the ones who REFUSED more funding and sending more security to those at the embassy. Our representatives knew EXACTLY what they signed on for and to trample their bravery and sacrifice as a way to further your misogynist candidate is a disgrace and more “traitorous” than what you are so poorly trying to say about Clinton.

          • This is not about Benghazi dear boy. This is about Iraq and Afghanistan. ISIS FUNDEDBYVTHE Saudis who support Clinton and her Foundation…which she knows they are funding , ISIS. God help our kids overseas from the liar Ckinton

I produced the email from 2014 which shows she knows. Get your head adjusted kid

        • Any voter who does vote for Clinton after now knowing she takes money
from the same people who help kill or dads, husbands, sons, brothers,
uncles and cousins, are a disgrace.

https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/3774-… 2014 email to Clinton from Podesta.

If you lost a loved one, or know someone who has, then take the time to
think about what Clinton is doing. Supporting a regime by taking
millions of their dollars for her Foundation, knowing they support and
finance ISIS. Read what she knows

“While this military/para-military operation is moving
forward, we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence>>
assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia,
which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL
and other radical Sunni groups in the region”

          • Yes, it does look as though Clinton figured out that the Saudis and Qatar’s were supporting ISIS/ISIL. Pretty sure that that means that she was doing her job as Secretary of State.

Now, this is how I see the rest of it going down……..Bill and Chelsea were running the Clinton Foundation, and they happened to hit the Saudis and Qatars up for, say $10,000,000 (a totally hypothetical sum) each. When Hillary got home, Bill excitedly told her about “the big donation”. Hillary listened and smiled, because she knew that that was $20,000,000 that would be going to charity and not into the pockets of ISIS. Or, maybe upon learning about the Saudi/Qatar ISIS support, Hillary actually came up with the idea for hitting them up for $20,000,000, so she casually put a little earwig of an idea out there for Bill to run with. You see, Hillary knew that building schools in Africa for girls and young women would not only take money away from ISIL, but it would also improve the economy and stabilize a nearby region, thus, making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.

Juan, you need to get to a neurologist and see about your prefrontal cortex…….the critical thinking part of your brain seems to be malfunctioning.

Seriously, I am unable to see how taking money away from the Saudis and giving it to charity in any way endangers our troops. Therefore, the use of the word “traitor” in any of it’s definitions does not appear to apply to my plan to vote for Hillary Clinton. Unless of course you are holding back on some really important details, I’m going to have to call “baloney” on this one.

          • The pointvis, she was told, the Saudis and Qatar were funding ISIS. She still took the money.

So don’t be a stooge when most of you liberals were whining about Trump being endorsed by the kkk. If he had taken their money, knowing they were helping the funding of weapons to kill black people, you’d be crying murder.

But if it’s our Troops dying at the hands of ISIS, funded by the Saudis and Qatar because they are friends a supporters of Clinton

You’re a hypocrite and pathetic. Hopefully none of your family or frIends are killed in rhe middle east by ISIS, HAMAS or Al Qaeda. It would be something to have to explain, yeah you knew that, Clinton takes money from the people who bought their weapons and ammo.

      • This is FREE country bud. We can vote for whoever the hell we want to vote for. So Fuck you.

    • I would be very surprised if Trump lost AL. If he loses AL he has already lost in many other places.

      • I really don’t see it happening, this is pretty solid Trump country, despite the fact that our Republicans actually went for Ted Cruz. However, just in case you ever plan to send me a package, Alaska is actually AK. I would hate for my cookies to end up in Alabama…………..

A very common mistake, I assure you!

You are worried about “guy-talk” from Trump? Hillary has promised a five-fold increase in refugees imported to the United States. In case you haven’t heard, these refugees roam in packs and rape women in Europe, because their belief system commands them to. As Hillary helps to erase our border, the new “undocumented” citizens bring in diseases that were once eliminated in the U.S. Do you want your children exposed to diseases like TB? You are used to the US as a relatively safe place in this world. Visit Mexico, and notice the men with automatic weapons posted at every parking lot. Danger in our streets will come across the open borders. Why would sweet, children-loving Hillary allow that? Because the Banks and Corporations that own her and donate to her foundation want to break the US wage structure and drive our wages down to third-world levels. Don’t any of you need to work to feed your families? In the future, remember Trump saying the “p-word” was more important to you than the well-being of your family when you voted.

      • First of all, I’ve worked in traditionally male industries my whole career, and I do not consider what Trump said to be “your average guy talk”. At all. But even if I throw out the fact that he’s been caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women, that he appears to have decided that walking in on naked 15 year old girls is a great perk to owning beauty pageants, that he has said so many horribly offensive things about women on the Howard Stern Show (such as this referral to his wives; “Vagina is expensive”), and for his truly sickening reaction to a ten year old girl on an escalator, “Can you believe I’ll be dating her in ten years?”, I still have a few bones to pick with him.

        And here they are;

        1) He is very weak on policy. And doesn’t care, and doesn’t work to improve his knowledge. He did not even know that Russia had annexed Crimea in 2014. His ignorance at this point in the game is astonishing, almost as bad as Sarah Palin.
        2) He is a narcissist with a major penchant for revenge against anyone who snubs him.
        3) He has a terrible temper and a history of abusing his position as a very wealthy and entitled person, and seeks even more power. In other words, he has no business being in charge of an army. Or nuclear weapons.
        4) He advocates domestic violence when he doesn’t get his way.
        5) He admires authoritarian despots such as Putin and Kim Jong-un.
        6) He is either very susceptible to conspiracy theories, or he doesn’t mind passing them around if he thinks that he can somehow gain from it.
        7) He is anti-free speech and appears to want to make laws against the First Amendment. In other words, he has no respect for the US Constitution.
        8) He is cruel towards women, the handicapped, and people who have less than him.
        9) He is a racist. Against Hispanics, Blacks, Muslims, Jews. Etcetera.
        10) He has totally unworkable immigration policies.
        11) He is corrupt. He went bankrupt four times and somehow managed to put all the debt on his investors and came out smelling like a rose.
        12) He isn’t even a good businessman, though that seems to be the thing that he prides himself most on. As far as I can tell, he’s been a bust at everything he’s done except reality tv.
        13) He lies. ALL THE TIME. He lies so much that I can’t even tell if he knows the difference between his lies and the truth. So he’s possibly delusional.
        14) He flirts with white supremacist groups. He may actually be one.
        15) He is disgustingly crude and speaks at a 7th grade level.
        16) He ruins families lives on a whim……..by simply deciding not to pay his contractors, even if he’s making money on a project.
        17) He has no respect for POW’S like John McCain, or gold star families such as the Khans. In other words, he doesn’t really respect veterans, or our currently serving military. And yes, I do have ancestors and family members who have served in the following; the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Texas War, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War. I would not willingly place our soldiers lives in the hands of Donald Trump.
        18) Misogyny aside, Trump may actually be some kind of sexual criminal. Possibly even a pedophile and even more likely, a rapist. At least that’s what his wife Ivana claimed in her divorce deposition.

So no, it’s not all about me being uncomfortable with the “p-word”. In fact, I’m not uncomfortable with the p-word. However, I am very uncomfortable with a 250 lb., 6′ 2″ tall man forcing himself on 120 lb. women against their wishes. And I’m also uncomfortable with a man who thinks that’s something that impresses other men.

But as you can see, p-word aside, I have ample other reasons not to vote for Trump!

PS Why would banks and corporations want to drive our wages down to third world country level? They make a hell of a lot more money off of wealthy countries than they do third world countries!

        • Well said!! Thank you for that intelligently, well written list of reasoning!! :)

        • Michiguy Madison | October 22, 2016 at 4:22 pm | Reply

The corporations look at the bottom line in a very short-sighted fashion. It is almost suicidal. Trump is not a brilliant man, and he’s a straight-up dog. Men are designed to chase women, and celebrities and rock stars get more latitude than the rest of us, like it or not. When women stop catering to money and fame, then men will be totally to blame. I’m pretty sure the p… comment was an exaggeration though. Hillary is a criminal and in poor health. Obama made our border swiss cheese, and she will finally obliterate it. You saw the Wikileaks that she dreams of a Borderless Hemisphere. That’s her true calling, and that’s why the new-world-order Bush’s are supporting her. That is not America, and it will be a more dangerous, poorer, and less healthy place to live and raise a family. Plus, once you let that demon out of the box, there’s no putting it back. Those of us who love the United States will seek another path, but the United States we know will be gone forever.

  10. Polls had Obama close to McCain. He lost by 21. Again, close to Romney. He lost by 15. Someplace, some Democrat consultant is on the phone telling a reporter that Murkowski is vulnerable and Don Young will lose and Hillary is going to carry Alaska. Don’t believe any of it.

    • Umm … if there is a history of the polls vs. actual results showing over-inflated poll numbers for Republicans (which is what your 2 arguments suggest), then actually the outcome should be the opposite of what you suggest. Just doing the math.

      • Democrats always poll higher than votes. I cannot remember the last time a Democrat surprisingly won unless you count the ’08 Senate race when a guilty verdict came down against Ted Stevens 5 days before the election. A verdict, I should point out, that was tossed out by AG Holder a few months later.

Polls had Obama competitive in Alaska UNTIL McCain put the state’s governor on the ticket. Polls never showed him competitive after that.

      • Ivan Moore had Obama within 10 in October and Hays Research had Obama within 3. The margin was over 21. Hays also had Joe Miller losing bad to Scott McAdams – their results are so bad, they burned their archives. Dittman is just about as bad. He had Lisa easily winning the primary that she lost to Joe Miller and then had her winning her write-in general by 10; she won by 4. Lower 48 pollsters do no better: In ’14, YouGov had Begich up 14 over Sullivan. I can’t count the number of times Don Young or Ted Stevens was going to win. Heck, Ivan Moore had Fran Ulmer becoming Governor.

  11. Bummer that it’s coming at the expense of Johnson. Of the 3 (note: Johnson is the only 3rd candidate on all 50 states) Johnson will do the least damage to this country. I was hoping that Alaskans were smarter than the average American. Sadly this seems not the case.

    • We are actually dumber than the average American……….did you possibly miss that whole “Sarah Palin Thing”?

Though I do take offense at you, an outsider, insinuating that we are dumb. Just because it’s true doesn’t mean that it doesn’t still hurt.

However, if you live here, then in the tradition of Mr. Whitekeys, have at it!

  12. The Pyops just gets better & better, lol. I heard she was almost tied in Oklahoma.

Yes…keep dreaming you fools on the left.

  14. If Trump wins the world might be able to escape the nuclear winter that will be guaranteed under another criminal Clinton presidency. Both the Clintons have done more harm to this planet via corruption – can all be proven and their money laundering foundation. The criminality Hillary ALONE shows by the entire email fiasco should disqualify from office on it’s own merits let alone Bengazi, Whitewater or anything else that has come before it. If people blatantly believe what the MSM is dishing liberally out to them about the purist Hillary then the American public is truly delusional and need to wake up with the help of a nuclear winter. God help you lot of that witch is put in the highest office on the country.

    • Benghazi was caused by your right-wing heroes in Congress refusing to spend a dime to increase security at foreign embassies, because Obama wanted it. Where was your faux outrage when 200 Americans died in embassies under your golden boy GW Bush? Oh wait, he was a republican. Every other accusation you make about Hillary is the usual psychotic Breitbart trash. You want a nuclear winter? Vote for Drumpf – it’s a “no-brainer”!

      • I don’t have any right wing heros – I don’t care for the establishment period left or right they are all the same. GW was no golden boy – they are all white collar criminal psychopaths sitting in the highest office in the land either elected by total idiots or rigged elections it matters not. Good job I’m not an American what a circus and what a disgusting government you’ve had. America is the most hated nation on the planet today – nobody is jealous of your pathetic consumeristic, parasitic lifestyles or your delusional wars of conquest. Go rot in hell.

    • More Fear and Doomsday rhetoric. Please, do your research. Face it, she’s going to win and you can directly thank Trump’s circus and the poor decision of the GOP.

  15. Trump has his flaws but I’m definitely voting for him. He is pro-America and pro-American. Hillary is owned by the globalist bankers and will serve her globalist masters. Like the wikileaks emails reveal, Hillary has a public policy (the one she tells the “dumb sheep”, i.e. the general public) and her private policy (the one she tells her globalist masters). A vote for her is a vote for the globalist who will continue to steal from us American citizens.
