Podcast Special: Alaska Commons and Midnights Sun Discuss Greg Jones vs Amy Demboski

Last night’s Anchorage Assembly meeting was full of drama, the high point of which was the confrontation between former Democratic State House candidate Greg Jones and Assemblywoman Amy Demboski. Jones took exception to Ms. Demboski’s posting of a FoxBuiness video linking an organization he is involved with to an alleged armed Islamic compound in Alaska.

John Aronno of AlaskaCommons.com and The Midnight Sun‘s Casey Reynolds shared a robust discussion with starkly different perspectives on Facebook during the event. In order to flesh out some of the issues raised during that discussion, we got together today, along with Assemblyman Forrest Dunbar, to discuss what happened last night and what it means to Alaskans going forward.
