Comic: Playing politics

(By Pat Race/Alaska Robotics)

Background from the editor: The Alaska House failed to meet the 30-vote threshold to fully fund the state supplemental budget and take care of the reverse sweep before too many legislators flee Juneau and make the critical accounting vote impossible. Cue the finger-pointing and cue the continued uncertainty.

Pat Race is a filmmaker and illustrator from Juneau. He is co-owner of the Alaska Robotics Gallery, a small comic shop / art gallery and a finalist for the 2019 Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Award. He also serves on the Alaska State Council for the Arts.
