Governor Mourns Passing Of Rep. Max Gruenberg

Governor Bill Walker and Lt. Governor Byron Mallott today mourned the passing of Representative Max Gruenberg.

“This is a significant loss for all of Alaska,” Governor Walker said. “Max has been a steady and respected voice in the legislature. Donna and I are covering his loved ones with prayer during this very difficult time.”

Rep. Gruenberg is survived by his wife, Kayla Epstein, his sons and daughter-in-law.

Governor Walker ordered flags to be lowered concurrently for Rep. Gruenberg and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

Some Legislators Spend A lot Of Our Money….On Themselves

There are some legislators that just don’t care. They spend our money with reckless abandon. They think they’re badasses, flying over here and over there, pocketing all the money we give them for office expenses, charging us more to relocate them than it would cost to just buy them a new car in Juneau. And they are crazy. They think they can bilk the good people of Alaska for it all and we won’t even notice.
